                   A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 18609,
                   ENCAPTIONED "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
                   MAYOR TO MAKE PRELIMINARY APPLICATION TO THE
                   GOVERNOR'S DRUG FREE TENNESSEE PROGRAM FOR
                   THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING AND IMPLEMENTING THE
                   PROJECT, "DRUG FREE ME," TO BE FEDERALLY
                   FUNDED IN THE AMOUNT OF THIRTY TWO THOUSAND
                   SEVENTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($32,070.00) AND
                   LOCALLY FUNDED IN THE AMOUNT OF TEN THOUSAND
                   SIX HUNDRED NINETY AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($10,690.00) FOR THE TOTAL SUM OF FORTY TWO
                   THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY AND NO/100
                   DOLLARS ($42,760.00)." SO AS TO DECREASE THE
                   AMOUNT OF FUNDS.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Resolution No. 18609, encaptioned
       hereinabove, be and is hereby amended so as to delete the amount
       of $32,070.00 and insert in lieu thereof $31,927.66, to delete 
the
       amount of $10,690.00 and insert in lieu thereof $10,642.55, and 
to
       delete the amount of $42,760.00 and insert in lieu thereof
       $42,570.21.

       	    	 On today's date, Mikey Glenn (Ext. 5333) called and
       asked that Resolution No. 18609 be amended as follows:
      
       	    	 Federal Funds - $32,070.00 change to $31,927.66
       	    	 Local Funds   - $10,690.00 change to $10,642.55
       	    	 Total Amount  - $42,760.00 change to $42,570.21
      
       This change is necessary due to the fact that not as much money 
is
       being expended as understood earlier.
